Centenary celebrations of entry of Italy into World War I, Asiago, May 24, 2015

Sunday, May 24, 2015, one hundred years later, theAsiago plateau recalls theentry into Italy's War with a major event. Will be celebrated the 100th anniversary of our country's Entry into World War I in the presence of the authorities, military, citizenship, school groups and associations of combattentistiche.

9.15a.m., the event will continue until the afternoon with the Holy Mass, the "Lamp of the centenary", deposition of the laurel wreath, parades, choral chants and fanfare.

THE PROGRAM

9.15 Hours. Gathering at the Loggia dei Caduti del City Hall with the participation of the citizens, of schoolchildren, civil and military authorities, honor picket, Combattentistiche, associations of 145° cp Btg Seven municipalities (historical reenactors)

9.45 A.m. Loggia dei caduti. "Lamp Ignition Ceremony of the centenary", coming from the Museum "Battle of Tre Monti" di Sasso di Asiago, with the Mayor's greeting, reading passages with Isaac Tam, songs performed by Choir Asiago and pupils of primary school "Monte Ortigara".

10.30 A.m. Parade Starts with Fanfara Bersaglieri on bicycle Roccafranca (Brescia): Corso IV Novembre, via Garibaldi, via Matteotti, Viale della Vittoria, Viale degli Eroi. Italian biplanes Pass.
Piazzale degli Eroi flag-raising and wreath-laying inside the Ossuary.

Hours 11.00. Solemn Holy Mass at the War Memorial officiated by the Bishop of Padua Mons. Antonio Mattiazzo, ecclesiastical authorities and vicars of the plateau. The ceremony will be accompanied by the songs of the Scholae Cantorum.

From 14.30 hours. Historical Reenactors of 145° Cp Btg. Seven municipalities from historical camp in Heroes ' square, the streets and squares of the historic centre of Asiago and Fanfare of Bersaglieri on bicycle Roccafranca (Brescia)
