Guided hike with Guide Altopiano di Asiago-"Monte Zebio: June 8, 1917 and the outbreak of the mine"
"THE PLATEAU DURING THE GREAT WAR":
The Monte Zebio is located north of the town of Asiago and plays a great historic interest related to the tragic events of World War I.
Along the entire stretch of the proposed route, in fact, you can see examples of intense human activity linked to the construction of works of the war of 1915-1918.
The route then, besides taking a considerable historical significance, also offers interesting naturalistic themes, such as forests of FIR, mountain pastures, Alpine pools and the rich flora and fauna typical of these environments.

Departure scheduled at 8.55 from the Bar at the station near the Piazzale dello Stadio del Ghiaccio di Asiago;

The Association "Plateau" first Association of guides of the plateau, consists of local guides that operate on the territory of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni since 2008. Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are mountain professionals recognized and enrolled in the province of Vicenza; they propose to accompany busloads of people hiking and tours around the area, as required by regional law No. 33 of 11/4/2002 and according to the laws of the professional bodies of which fan part.
