The Festival of mountain herbs, the Asiago plateau, 31 May-June 2, 2015, Slow Food
From Sunday 31 May to 2 June, 2015, Slow Food in collaboration with the Municipality of Asiago, the restaurateurs of the plateau of Asiago, Asiago and Vicenza Coldiretti and Asiago Cheese Consorzio Tutela organizes the event "the Festival of mountain herbs".
The event is an opportunity to get to know our herbs and discover both nutritional values when they are served at the table, both the benefits when applied to medicine.

SUNDAY, 31 MAY
9.30a.m.: "Andar per Herbs", guided excursion in the locality of Val Maddarello di Asiago with the herbalists Antonio and Lisa Calva. Participation fee: € 5.00. (For information and reservations contact the or write to )
10.00a.m.: market square with handicraft and typical products: cheeses, herbs, honey, teas, spirits and cosmetics.
18.00hours: film screening "the plateau of wonders" at the Lux Cinema di Asiago with the participation of Roberto Costa and Fabio Colucelli. Rapporteur Antonio Calva.
20.0hours 0: theme dinner with spontaneous herbs at the Relax Hotel Erika of Asiago.
Monday 1 JUNE
10.00a.m.: Conference at theHotel La Baitina Kaberlaba locations titled: "medicinal herbs and mountain Alimurgiche". After the greetings of the authorities will intervene: Lorenzo Berlendis (vice President of Slow Food Italy), prof. Daniel Zanini (from the classical medicine pharmaceutical Botany), Lorenzo Roccabruna (alimurgiche of Monte Baldo herbs), Antonio Calva (medicinal plants in folk tradition).
Hours 13.00: lunch of wild herbs and local produce with the rapporteurs.
Hours 16.00: "Andar per herbs", guided excursion in località Monte Corno di Lusiana with Massimiliano Garner. Participation fee € 5.00
20.00hrs: theme dinner with spontaneous herbs at thegallium Gaarten Hotel.
Tuesday 2 JUNE
9.30a.m.: "Andar per Herbs", guided excursion in the locality of Foza with herbalists Antonio and Lisa Calva. Participation fee: € 5.00 per person. (For information and reservations contact the or write to )
10.00a.m.: practical cooking course with spontaneous herbs with the chef and instructor Mirko Rigoni at theHotel Institute of Asiago. Participation fee : € 30.00 per person and maximum availability for 16 people.
Hours 13.00 lunch of wild herbs and local produce with the rapporteurs at the Alpine restaurant in Foza.
