You can reach the Asiago plateau from Milan either by car or by train, let's see how:

BY CAR

Take the A4 Milano-Venezia motorway towards Venice and follow it until the next Vicenza Est exit, taking the Valdastico A31 motorway towards Piovene Rocchette-Asiago. Once you exit the A31 at Piovene Rocchette, continue on the SP349 del Costo until you reach the Asiago plateau.

BY TRAIN

Arriving at the Milan railway station, you can buy the fast regional and regional ticket but the most convenient to buy for a quick trip is the Freccia Bianca train ticket with destination Vicenza. The train will stop only at the main stations along the way, avoiding inappropriate stops and loss of time. In less than two hours of travel you will arrive at Vicenza station, with the possibility of taking the FTV bus (Ferrovie Tramvie Vicentine) in the adjacent square that leads directly to Asiago.
