Reaching the Asiago plateau from Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, is extremely simple. The routes that lead to our Vicenza mountains from the province of Verona are many:

BY CAR

Take the A4 Milano-Venezia motorway towards Venice and follow it until the junction of the A31 Valdastico motorway. Then keep left towards Piovene Rocchette: you will already notice from the road signs the tourist signs to reach the plateau. Once you exit the A31 at Piovene Rocchette, the last exit of the Valdastico, continue on the SP349 del Costo until you reach your destination.

BY TRAIN

The Veronese tourist, whether arriving from Verona Porta Nuova or arriving from Verona Porta Vescovo, can choose the ticket for the Freccia Bianca train (stop at San Bonifacio and Vicenza), or the fast regional / regional ticket stopping at all the stops of the journey. In Vicenza, the FTV station (Ferrovie Tramvie Vicentine) has a direct line that leads to Asiago.

The square of the Verona railway station, recently restored, prepares a regional bus line that leads to Vicenza. It is necessary, once you arrive in the "city of Palladio", to take the connection with the line 23 that leads to Asiago.

FROM CATULLO AIRPORT OF VILLAFRANCA - VR

Verona Catullo Airport is located in Villafranca, a few kilometers from Lake Garda and convenient to the A4 Milan-Venice motorway. Leaving the airport, follow the signs for the A4 Milan-Venice motorway or continue along thet angenziale Sud towards Verona until San Martino Buon Albergo, where you will take the junction for the same motorway. The exit for the A31 Valdastico – after Vicenza Est – is the right one to reach the plateau. Following the motorway that will take you to the last exit of Piovene Rocchette, you will reach "the foot" of the plateau. The SP349 also called "road of the Cost", will take you straight to the destination in about twenty minutes after facing a series of hairpin bends.
