Laboratory of spectroscopy at the Asiago Astrophysical Observatory

Saturday, december 29, 2018, appointment with "the colored stars", the spectroscopy laboratory organized byAsiago Observatory.

The meeting will begin at 18.00, at the headquarters of Pennar.
During the Observatory's spectroscopy laboratory experts explain to children and adults is the study of the stars through their Rainbows, using various types of lamps and by unravelling it colors with the special glasses.

In particular, on this occasion, will spectroscopy of the Comet Wirtanen, or "Christmas Comet", with the telescope Galileo.

After the workshop, the program also includes a guided tour of the MUSE (Museo degli Strumenti dell'astronomia) where attendees can see the disused Asiago Observatory astronomical instruments .

INFORMATION

Participants will be provided with night vision goggles of the spectrum of any source of light, except for the Sun.

We recommend warm clothing and to have a front panel. For groups of 15 people it is possible to arrange other meetings.
