In Asiago, on November 4,a day dedicated to National Unity and the Armed Forces, there will be a commemoration ceremony for the 103rd anniversary of the victory that marked the end of the Great War.
The anniversary of November 4 is an important moment in our history and our civilization, an opportunity to express the highest feeling of gratitude for our Armed Forces which, with sacrifice and sense of duty, strive for freedom and peace as well as to dedicate a thought to those who have sacrificed themselves for the ideals of national unity, of independence and democracy.
Thursday, November 4,the City of Asiago will honor the memory of this important event with a ceremony of commemoration and honor to the Fallen.
The commemoration will be held with the following program:
● 9.30 am: meeting of the participants at the Loggia dei Caduti of the Municipal Palace
● 9.45 am: deposition in official form of a laurel wreath at the Loggia dei Caduti
● 9.50 am: tolling of the Bell of the Civic Tower in memory of the Fallen
● 10.00 am: start of the procession to the Leiten Military Shrine
● 10.20 am: deposition of laurel wreath at the Leiten Military Shrine
● 10.30 am: celebration of Holy Mass in memory and suffrage of the Fallen of all wars, with the participation of the Civic Administration, the Military Representatives and the Forces of Order, the Combat Associations
● 11.30 am: intervention of the Mayor of Asiago and the Civil Authorities
During the ceremony, participants are required to maintain their distance and wear a mask.
To access the sacred area of the Military Shrine, the GREEN PASSis required, except in the cases of exemption provided for by law, as per DL n. 105 of 23/07/2021.
