The municipality of Roana proclaims the 14 Edition of the scholarship "Amelia and Nino Sandri" that rewards the most deserving students resident in the Comune di Roana.

Nino Sandri and Amelia Taionini moved to Cesuna in 1933 from his native Waterford, in the province of Ferrara to save the life of Nino, ill with tuberculosis, contracted in the trenches of the first world war.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION

• 2 scholarships of € 220.00 each to be awarded, one for each school, primary schools Canove and Roana. The names of the student group (class) with the best profit will be reported directly from the school leadership.
• 3 scholarships from € 180.00 one reserved for secondary schools 1st grade. The names of the student with the best profit will be reported directly from the school leadership.
• 3 scholarships from $ 200.00 each to be awarded to students attending secondary schools 2nd grade, with the award of a scholarship for Professional institutes, one for the technical colleges and one for the high schools.
