Wooden sculpture Symposium in Treschè basin, Asiago plateau

By Wednesday, 31 August to Sunday September 4, 2016, in Treschè Conca di Roana, on theAsiago plateau, will host the "1° Symposium of sculpture in wood", an event organized by Pro Loco di in Treschè Basin in cooperation with the hoteliers.

During the days of the event, artists from Italy and other countries will perform in wooden sculptures in the streets of the village, giving rise to veritable works of art. The free theme and the imagination of the artist will make the event even more exciting, with the public that can engage, interact and talk with the sculptors.

Surrounded by woods and mountains, authentic symbols of nature, in Treschè Basin will turn into an open-air Gallery where the real protagonists are the wood sculptors who with passion and love are dedicated to transform simple logs into true masterpieces.

An opportunity not to be missed, especially for fans and sympathizers who work the wood to learn new techniques and knowing "professionals" in the beautiful plateau.

PROGRAM

Beginning August 31 Wednesday hours 15.00 Symposium (sculptors will carve up at 19.30).

From Thursday 1 September to 3 September Saturday the sculptors work stations at the following times:

• from 9.00 to 12.00
• from 15.00 to 19.00

Saturday 3 September finish works and concentration of all works at the PalaSilvio. At 19.30 hours, always at the PalaSilvio, traditional dinner on reservation (Office Pro Loco in Treschè Basin) and naturalistic video projection on the flora and fauna of the plateau.

Sunday 4 September meeting at 15.30 hours at the PalaSilvio for the "greeting to the sculptors" with an exhibition of photos, brief explanation of the works created and tribute by the Pro Loco and organizers to artists taking part.

• 3 artists at the Piazzale ex chairlifts Belmonte
• 2 artists at the pitch in front of the PalaSilvio
