1ª STRAFEXPEDITION mountain non-competitive race Asiago 7 Comuni, September 7, 2014
Sunday 7 September 2014 at 07.30 hours starting from step Vezzena (Tn) and arriving in the Centre of Asiago (Vi) will take place the 1st Strafexpedition, a non-competitive mountain travel on a journey of 50 miles with 2282 Mt. height difference organized by positive 7 Common Sports in collaboration with the municipalities ofAsiago plateau, Alpine sections, ProLoco, civil protection and the various local voluntary associations.
THE "TRUE" STRAFEXPEDITION
Between May and June of 1916 on plateaus vicentini l'esercito austro-Hungarian and Italian faced each other in the largest battle ever fought mountain, officially known as the Battle of Plateaus. The Italians called it Strafexpedition, from German punitive expedition. At the end of the battle losses between the two armies were over 230 thousand men.
For over three years the vicentine Highlands were the scene of bloody battles, and today the remains of that conflict are visible everywhere. Trails, stalking, garrisons and barracks are some of the testimonials left from the great war on the Asiago plateau 7 Comuni.

Prizes are not cumulative, athletes will be rewarded with technical stuff and/or typical local products
REGULATION
PARTICIPATION
Can subscribe to 1ª Strafexpedition all athletes with regular medical certificate. Registrations will be closed even in advance the number of 500 subscribers. The breastplate and the race package will be delivered strictly only to participants who are in good standing with the dimension and the medical certificate for athletic activity
DELETE SCHEDULES
Will be established as a result of the limit on precise route points
SUPPLIES
There will be 4 supplies along the route with liquids (water, salts and coca) and solids (dried fruit, cookies, bananas, cheese)
REQUIRED MATERIAL
It will be compulsory for every athlete to have
• Windproof jacket and shirt-sleeved technique
• Water in quantities of at least 1 litre
• Whistle
• Mobile phone with number organizers saved
Is allowed to use chopsticks. Athletes will have an absolute obligation to scrupulously follow the path marked with colored slings and arrows-. Will set up one or more control points, to which every athlete must pass, under penalty of disqualification.
SUSPENSIONS
An athlete will be disqualified if there is even one of the following reasons
• The Cutting path reported or failed to pass a checkpoint;
• Abandonment of any kind of refusal on the path, outside of the areas used to supply;
• Insults or threats to organizers or volunteers;
• Use of means of transport in the race;
• Failure to rescue a competitor in trouble.
IMAGE RIGHTS
Each contestant, on registration, authorize the Organizing Committee to the free use of any still image and moving that retracts while participating at the 1st Strafexpedition
-GENERAL
The race will take place with any weather. Will be the sole Organizational Committee may vary, even at the last moment, the path to any risks that they run in the event of adverse weather conditions.
Each contestant on registration, accepts that regulation in every point, including any changes thereto that may occur, and that in any case will be indicated on the web
