30° Concorso Internazionale di woodcarvings, 20 August 27, 2012-Asiago

From 20 to August 27, 2012, the Municipality of Asiago organizes the 30° Concorso Internazionale di woodcarvings all open ' "Asiago City", which will take place in the ' pedestrian street and in town squares.

On the occasion of this event, now already all ' Edition number 30, themunicipal administration decided to define a specific theme: "nature and Wildlife in Asiago.

This competition attracts every year a lot of people, experts and not; those made by artists are real works of ' art executed with great skill and mastery.

The sculptures must be carried out using:

-a pine trunk or weimurth pine dell ' cm height. 130 cm in diameter and 40-50 provided by ' organization and which must be exploited to the maximum;

-a panel of Swiss stone pine weimurth or cm.  about 120x80x10. We recommend in this case to bring an appropriate door-panel that cannot be applied to your organization.

Offer no. 10 trunks and 3 panels for which the choice of the artist does not bind l ' ' Administration which, in the case of requests exceeds the number of available panels, trunks or be free to assign to extraction.

Each station can be equipped with a locking IEC Socket 16 amp 2 poles + ground; Tools for processing must be owned by ' artist.

The site and material to sculpt will be allocated by lots.

The cost of accommodation and meals shall be borne by the Organization ' from 18 of the 20 August at 18 of August 27, 2012.

The works will be owned by the artists, with the exception of the one chosen by the jury which will constitute assets of the Municipality of Asiago.

The artist would be a prize winner of $ 1,937 .00 gross.

Popular jury award, named after Joe From Ave, will be delivered to the artist chosen by citizens and tourists by means of tabs – rated to be delivered to the Office of tourism of the municipality of Asiago 11.00 a.m. of 8/27/2012.

The award consists of a silver plaque with the effigy of the municipality of Asiago which will be awarded during the awards ceremony.

For the success of the event each station will remain active throughout the period established for the purpose of engaging in the best possible way the citizenship.

During the week there will be a public meeting dedicated to the presentation of the participants in the Symposium. Each artist must therefore bring illustrative material of its activity (photos, slides, etc.).

The application is free and must be formalised by filling out the appropriate card, accompanied by personal curriculum and 2 photos of his most important works.

The question involves the automatic acceptance of the ' rules contained in this regulation, to be sent to:

The jury will select the sculptors participants according to the curriculum and to works, the municipality will notify promptly selected sculptors.

The municipality of Asiago assumes no liability for damages that could be caused to persons and to property during processing.

The works in order to be admitted to the final exposure and to participate in the contest must necessarily be completed and finished in every detail within the hours of 12.00 Monday, August 27, 2012.

The award ceremony of the competition will be held Monday, August 27, 2012, at the Giardini Pubblici, at 16:00.
