34th International competition of wood carving town of Asiago, 20-27 August 2016

From 20 to 27 August 2016 the historic centre of Asiago will host the 34th Edition of the international competition of outdoor wood carvings, an event dedicated to theart of sculpture that excites the plateau's for many years and tourists from all over Italy and beyond.

The competition went 14 sculptors, both Italian and foreign, which will carry out its own sculpture from a wooden trunk or a Panel, under the watchful gaze of passers-by in the main streets and squares of the town and the old town.

Visitors will be able to contemplate the skilful art of sculptors and admire the works take shape slowly, spending a pleasant day immersed in the atmosphere imbued Asiago Center art.

Saturday, August 27, at the public gardens of Asiago, at 16.00 hours, will be held the awards. Will be awarded the jury award and Prize Joe From Ave. I wonder who will be the winner!
