38th Rotzo Potato day 2014, Asiago plateau 7 Comuni 5-7 September
From Friday 5 to Sunday 7 September 2014 Rotzo back to the traditional feast of the Rotzo Potato!
As usual, during the first weekend of September, the feast of Rozto potato, gastronomic event eagerly awaited and now in its 38th edition , which every year attracts a large number of people from all over theplateau of Asiago 7 Comuni.The Festival will take place in the Rotzo at Piazzale delle Elementary Schools.
The Rotzo potato, renowned variety of potatoes, typical of Rotzoterritory, one of the 8 municipalities ofthe Asiago plateau, is the main ingredient of succulent dishes like dumplings, delicious especially when topped with the traditional topping of butter, cinnamon and sugar and so-called polenta considers, flat plateau typical prepared with potatoes, onion, lard, flour, grated cheese and cinnamon.
Activities and games for kids, food stand with gnocchi and typical local products with potatoes, polenta, cheeses and suppressed, entertainment, live music and dancing, photographic exhibition: a great festival aimed at audiences of all ages that can only advise.
We highlight that the food stand will be active during all three days.
The event is organized by Pro Loco di Rotzo in collaboration with the Veneto region, the province of Vicenza, the Comune di Rotzo and Comunità Montana Dear Regency of 7 Municipalities.

Throughout the day will be exhibited the forest machines "Harvester and forwarder" with its practical dimostazioni and two Man truck Dakar Teamitalia
They will also be present stand of the typical products of the municipality of Barbarano Vicentino (twinned with Rotzo) and you can visit some photographic exhibitions.
