From 6 to 13 February 2016, Lusiana hosts the 3rd Symposium of sculpture on marble.

TheAssociation of stone, with the aim of enhancing the Highland of marble 7 Communes, presents the 3rd Symposium of marble carving. For the occasion, some local artists, you will know by opening the "Gates of their workshop". Will present their works, will reveal to the public live stone and the secrets and techniques of a mestiereantico that has been handed down for generations.

The artists will carve in Piazza IV Novembre 7-11-12-13 August at the following times:

• morning from 9.00 to 12.00
• afternoons from 16.00 to 19.00

EXHIBITION SHOW

TheAssociation of stone presents a photographic exhibition and a display of works and products with the theme of stone and marble of the plateau. For the occasion the exhibit hall will be decorated with paintings (fresco on bottom of marmorino) the artist Narcissus Bicego.

Exhibition at the Hall Theater every day from 6 to 13 April at the following times:

• afternoons from 16.00 to 19.00

SATURDAY 6 NOVEMBER 2016

Opening of 3° Symposium of sculpture on the marble of the plateau and the exhibition photographic exhibition staged at the Teatro Comunale.
Interventions:

• I greet the authorities;
• Presentation of the event and artists;
• Report of geologist Gino Lath "the types and characteristics of the Highland of Common 7 marble";
• Report by architect Fabio Sbordone: "the seventeenth-century and eighteenth-century coloured marble altars of Lusiana in Bassano del Grappa".

SUNDAY 7 AUGUST 2016

At the Teatro Comunale demonstration of ancient techniques stonemason tools, forging and stone.

Guided tour of the quarry Valbella meeting at 8.30 in Piazza IV Novembre (means of transport provided with return service). For info call or ask at the information point directly to Piazza IV Novembre.

"Ideas ... stony and enchanted stones". Creative workshop for children of all ages.

Wednesday 10 AUGUST 2016

Day dedicated to the performance of a fresco (reservations required at number or at the info point of Piazza IV Novembre).
PROGRAM OF THE DAY:
• Meeting point in Piazza IV Novembre alle ore 9.30;
• Transfer by locality of Labioli where Dr. Antonio Calhoun will show the lime kiln and the procedure to obtain lime;
• Packed lunches at 12.00;
• From 13 to 17 at the Hall Theater fresco painting workshop with artist Narcissus Bicego. At the end of the course you will have a picture of fresco of own production.
