Sunday, may 25, 2025, the E-bike rental of the Valmaron Refuge invites you to take part in a suggestive guided e-bike excursion entitled "The eagle of Vaia".
It is an easy tour, also suitable for those approaching this type of activity for the first time, perfect for immersing yourself in the nature of the Plateau and getting to know its strength and resilience up close.
The route winds through the Marcesina plain, among large green expanses, mountain huts, woods and areas hard hit by storm Vaia in October 2018.
Right here is installed the work "L'Aquila Vaia", a monumental wooden sculpture created by the highland sculptor Marco Martalar with the wood of trees felled by the storm. The work, located in the heart of the plain, on the border between Veneto and Trentino, stands majestically as a testimony to the deep bond between man and nature. The Eagle of Vaia, a significant and touching stop on the e-bike tour, has become one of the most iconic symbols of the resilience of mountain communities and the regenerative force of nature.
The meeting is scheduled at 8:30 am from the Valmaron Refuge, returning around 12:30 pm, followed by a typical lunch at the refuge, included in the participation fee.
The excursion is open to all those who wish to participate, whether they rent an e-bike at the Valmaron Refuge or already have their own. Different prices will apply depending on the option chosen (see details below).
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
Don't miss the opportunity to explore the Asiago Plateau 7 Municipalities in a sustainable way and discover the regenerative power of nature!
