6th MEETING of the Conference on VACARETE & VACARETI Campestre, Cesuna, July 6, 2014 to the Asiago plateau 7 Comuni

Sunday 6 July 2014 from 10.00 o'clock meeting at the Bar Lèmerle in Cesuna, the seven Municipalities Plateau, will take place on 6th meeting of Vacareti & Vacarete (6th Conference Campestre).

The 6th meeting of Vacareti & Vacarete this year will focus on two main themes; in the morning we discuss Alpine pools around the ancient puddle of Kugola: the largest of Cesuna, the lone survivor and recently reclaimed the watering of cows by a group of volunteers.
The Alpine pool, as naturalist Patrizio Rigoni has always been "the only aquatic environment of the plateau, part of the pasture and balance factor for the same nearby forests". Also in puddles, in days, he ran the lissia; the clothes were hung out to dry on stoan platten that surrounded it.

In the afternoon, after the country breakfast, there will be lectures around the tragedy that, in 1915-16, he combined the two innocent Cesuna community and Luserna.
In may 1915 the bombs matches from forts of Campolongo and Verena devastated downtown Lucerna killing two women; in may 1916 the bombs matches from "Long Giorgio" of Calceranica and howitzers Levico arrived unexpected at Cesuna and on the entirePlateau sowing death, panic and a Stampede of the population towards the plain.
