Destination: Malghe del Monte Verena - Asiago plateau
In a suggestive atmosphere that recalls nights of other times, it makes our way with the dim light of the lanterns.
So we relive the experience of past people: herdsmen, soldiers, smugglers or simple lovers who had to move at night without the comforts of our days that we often take for granted.
Crossing a wonderful mountain forest, to reach a panoramic point and enjoy a sparkling panorama.
The return to the woods will reserve us a unique experience, to discover the legends and traditions of the Cimbrian culture, the glow of candles, will lead us into a world of magic.
At the end of the excursion it will be possible to stop for dinner to taste a typical menu that will be communicated near the date to those booked at the price of € 20-25 at the Chalet Grizzly.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a ring, does not present particular technical difficulties and there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 200 m.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, cap, gloves.
COST: 20€ for the guided candlelight excursion per person, 10€ for children under 15 years.
Possible snowshoes and poles rental: € 10 per person.
If there is not enough snow for snowshoeing, it will be a walk.
MEETING POINT: at 5.30 pm in front of Chalet Grizzly - Roana - Località verenetta, 36010 Roana VI -
NB private parking, parking is subject to consumption in one of the huts or at the Forte Verena Refuge or to the payment of the parking.
You will start on foot from the meeting place.
