A civil pilgrimage with readings by Mario Rigoni Stern and Luigi Meneghello on places of Little Masters

Pigafetta " di Vicenza.

Presentation
The places where she grew the small Masters have always visited by individual or collective visits. Because many people climb up there, on that beautiful part of Asiago plateau? Essentially to honor the memory of some young fallen fighting for freedom in the summer of 1944. Yes, of course, but not only.
The time has come to admit without hesitation that there is something special that draws on small places and Masters that goes beyond the passion for Meneghello pages: this is the beauty of this story of young Italians who decided to make an act of rebellion and to go to fight in the mountains. Is the extreme naturalness and simplicity of that adventure, the antiretorica which dominates the story of the protagonists; is the centrality that the word libertàoccupa in this affair, "freedom" and "freedom"; is the moral health of a figure like that of Antonio Giuriolo.
To defend and preserve this heritage not enough research, conferences, books serves a responsibility on the part of those who like us have had the privilege to be born free. We must prevent a reading of history prevails in which everything is flattened, confused, mixed or, worse, deleted.
