Alberto Fagan and the flight of his raptors: educational activities at Malga Valmaron, to the 11 August Enego
Sunday, August 11 in Enego at Malga Valmaron Lot 1° from 14.30 hours there will be activitiesandeducational demonstrations with Alberto Fagan, renowned as the greatest expert on raptors nationwide.
BIRDS OF PREY
The characteristic of raptors is the consumption of live prey, usually small and medium-sized mammals and other birds. The type of prey depends of course on the size and characteristics of the Raptor. For example the prey, having large and strength in claws, prefer prey such as mice and other rodents until arriving to chamois,Golden Eagle.
The Falconidae, having smaller and generally more agility in flight, Hunt smaller prey, but manage to catch prey in flight. For example, the Peregrine Falcon feeds almost exclusively on other birds hunted in flight killing the prey primarily due to the impact.
THE 1ST BATCH VALMARON
The mountain overlooks the Valsugana, the Val di Tana. You notice the characteristic nozzle casoni, the large roof structures four strata, where cupertura once was made of straw, but now in stainless steel. Pastures from steep slopes, used in winter as ski slopes, in the area called Enego 2000. Near the Summit of Mount Lisser and remains preserved in good condition of strong Italiannamesake.
