Guided sunset and aperitif walk with Asiago DOP tasting in Malga with Asiago Guide

META: Malga Verde (Val Lastaro) - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
A sunset walk through the pastures and beech forests along the southern edge of the 7 Communes Plateau, guided to the discovery of the production of Asiago DOP cheese and its history.
"Behind each cheese there is a pasture of a different green, under a different sky" wrote Calvino: go to discover (and taste) the secrets of the real Asiago doPcheese of Malga , understanding some of its secrets: such as grazing herbs, processing rooms, aging techniques, microorganisms that help every stage of the process...
Theaperitif proposed in itinere at Malga Verde gives us a taste of products made from spontaneous mountain herbs, but above all a lot of love and passion for this centuries-old work.
Reservations are required.
Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.
FIX: We assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between meadows and pastures, mountain paths, dirt roads, and a few short stretches of little-trafficked paved road. The uphill climb is less than 250 m. There are no exposed strokes.
FROM PORT WITH SÉ: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap, front stack.
COST: 20 euros, for the guided excursion and aperitif with tasting in malaga. 10th for under-15s.
