Artemusica Culture - "Leonardo da Vinci - Visions" - Live original dance and music show, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's drawings to mark the 500th anniversary of his death.

The Cultural Art Music Association of Roana offers fans a show of contemporary music and dance,which will be held on Sunday, October 27 at 20.45 at the Council Hall of the Town Hall of Canove.          

In the show, entirely produced by Artemusica Cultura, and which is created during an artistic residency in Roana, dancers and choreographers from various dance realities of Veneto will be inspired by leonardo's beautiful drawings,an example convergence between observation, artistic research and scientific research.

The show is the result of an in-depth analysis of some of these images and an intensive work of technical and creative study by the dancers and guitarist Manuel Mocellin, in which the process of improvisation and construction is shared by all participants, in an artistic dimension in which the art of dance approaches other forms of expression.

At the base is Leonardo's idea of the superiority of visual language over verbal one: "O writer, with what letters will you write with such perfection, what does the drawing do here?" he will write in his notes, "don't get caught up in things belonging to the eyes with the let them pass through their ears, because you will be far surpassed by the work of the painter."

Selenia Mocellin, a graduate of the I.S.T.D. for modern dance in 2000, has been working with Artemusica Culture of Roana since 2011 in the creation of dance and theatre-dance performances.  In 2018 he received the A.I.C.S. Coni Award for teaching Contemporary Dance. She is co-founder of Network Nolimita-C-tions, and directs the a.s.d. Kasadanza in Rosà.

Michela Negro, dancer, teacher and choreographer; since 1996 he has choreographed the group etra di Montecchio Maggiore where he co-directs the cultural association etradanzae20. Co-founder of the "Nolimita-C-tions" network, Teacher Dance Well (movement and research for Parkinson's) and the project "I dance the way I feel" for patients and former cancer patients.

Simone Baldo Qi gong instructor, DanceWell teacher, co-founder of cultural association etradanzae20, teacher in the project "I dance the way I feel". The study of contemporary dance began and continues, following the workshops of the CSC Bassano del Grappa and with the choreographer Michela Negro.

Cristina Pulga, DanceWell teacher, assistant choreographer for some productions of Opera Estate Bassano, continues the study of contemporary dance at the CSC in Bassano.
