Concert with the Asiago Choir at St Matthew's Cathedral
On the evening of Tuesday, August 20, 2019,the Asiago Choir will perform in concert at the Cathedral St. Matthew of Asiago.
The performance of the beloved Altopian choir will begin at 21:00.
The beautiful singing of the Asiago Choir will take you on an exciting journey to discover the folk songs of tradition, in an evening full of the most beautiful mountain music.
ASIAGO CHOIR
The "Asiago Choir" was founded in 1952 by a group of friends from the parish "schola cantorum", who decided to come together to learn the songs of the S.A.T. of Trento, animated by the passion for the mountains and for singing, supported from the friendship that had been created between them.
The debut took place on August 16, 1952 in Asiago on the stage of the forecourt of the "Prunno", under the name "Asiago Choral Group".
Many years have passed since then and the Asiago Choir has taken a leading role not only in the cultural landscape of the Plateau, but also in the Veneto Region.
Currently the Choir is made up of elements that come from various municipalities of the Plateau; this allowed him to grow, numerically and technically, assuming a comprehension dimension never known before.
