ASIAGO BALLOONING on 16 and 17 February 2015 on the Asiago plateau

The Fourth Edition of the event balloon Asiago ballooning back on theAsiago plateau on 16 and 17 February 2015.

The event, organised with the purpose of enhancing the area and inherent as proposition for the Carnival of Asiago, has enjoyed great success in previous editions, with the enchanted crowd by spectacular scenery offered by the landscape and by the hot air balloons.

PROGRAM

There are flights bound for FREE at the piazzale del Duomo San Matteo: booking is essential at the tourist office in Piazza Carli with the following timetable:

MONDAY 16 FEBRUARY 2015

Piazza Duomo, bound flights in hot air balloon hours 10:00-12:00 and 14.30-16.30 (reservations at the IAT)

TUESDAY 17 FEBRUARY 2015

On Tuesday February 17, 2015, Shrove Tuesday, to Asiago also held Carnival in Piazza starting at 14.30.

THE HOT AIR BALLOONS

Absolute protagonists of the day are the balloons: during the day when weather conditions are optimal are inflated and have consequently their classic "balloon" shape. They are raised from the ground by hot air, a gas lighter than the air we breathe, showing all their impressiveness and their colors.

The landscape is to scream: passengers, lulled by the wind that pushes the hot air balloons, will enjoy an unparalleled panorama. On board, an expert driver ensures total safety and peace of mind for the duration of the flight. The preparation is no different: motors, air, and takeoff maneuvers offer an unique show.

These "transportation" are environmentally friendly; the gas burned, is one of the cleanest of the fossil fuels. Over the years, have become veritable sports attractions and resorts.
