BESIDES CAPORETTO

While it is true that no battle was ever held as had been scheduled nor as being told by the victors, in the case of Caporetto, that historiography has yet to explain fully, mistakes add up spoofing ExxonMobil's will that have made an ambiguous symbol.

Starting from the volume that built on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary, Mario Isnenghi back on the episode of our history that represented one of the imaginary, virtual "unleashing that overlaps the material»: something that goes far beyond the military dimension and enter the psychology and politics of our country. Returning the word "overwhelmed" and "saved", shows the picture of a situation in which, in the absence of objective information, each reacted according to their ideologies and prejudices, producing alternately risings of pride and deviant readings, whose influence reaches up to today. One crucial pivot around to clarify, to find a common thread that goes far beyond the commemoration and remembrance.
