HOW HORSES SLEEP STANDING UP
This is the story of a train journey, indeed of many train journeys. The Narrator leaves for Galicia: that first in 1914 and in 1915 was the scene of heavy fighting between Austrian and Russian. There flows the blood of the first great war.
There the Narrator gathers the first voices, the voices coming from the small lights of Polish cemeteries where the tombs are polishing up to make them shine. And those voices are in addition to others that progressively Rumiz collects: the Germans, the Italians, Austrians seem to speak the same language of death suffered. The slow translated is traveling the Narrator greets soldiers ghosts: the ghosts of the living are combined with those of the dead, and the journey ends at Redipuglia.
In case of bad weather the meeting will move to Teatrro Millepini Asiago.
