Choir folk songs " old bridge ", Lusiana Saturday July 28, 2012

The Old " chorus " Bridge of Bassano del Grappa, directed by Maestro John Mayer, will perform a concert in Lusiana Saturday July 28, 2012.

The choir will propose a review of popular songs at the parish church of St. James, to 21:00 hours.

The choir was founded in 1997 under the name of "Vox Choralis Constantinus" in Bassano del Grappa (VI) by a group of friends from different choral experiences.

In 2001 takes over m. or John Mayer, a pianist and composer, and choir goes on a musical journey which leads him to confront the author's repertoire.

In 2003 the choir decide to change name assuming the name of " old bridge "and since then the business has been in over 200 concerts, participating in national and international exhibitions, and proposing a repertoire of over 90 compositions.

Collaborating since 2001 with the dialect poets "Poetry goddess Aque Amissi – Slosse" by participating in their annual poetic and editing appointments the musical performance of songs on original poetic texts.

Since 2005 is twinned with the female choir "The Hearth" of Trieste, directed by m. or Giampaolo Zion. He recorded two CDs "sings and Tells" (2003) and "emotions and memories" (2007).

Organizes from 2001 two choral festivals: the Festival "Vox Choralis Constantinus" which takes place in the first week of June in Rossano Veneto (VI) and the review "Cori at Christmas" held during the period of advent in Bassano del Grappa.

From 2008 organizes, in collaboration with the Italian Alpine Club Bassano and the patronage of the Comunità Montana del Grappa, the "Choral Trails" itinerant concert sui sentieri del Monte Grappa which takes place on the last Sunday of May.
