Christmas conversations with Don Marco Puddle and presentation of the book "Lord's prayer written by the Pope-Asiago, 3 April 2018

Meeting organized by the library Asiago joints

The Library Giunti al Punto di Asiago, 3 January 2018, set a meeting of Christmas conversations with Don Marco Puddle, during which will be presented the book "Lord's prayer written by the Pope together with the priest native to the plateau.

The event will take place at 18.00 o'clock, at the Sala Jiminy, via Mons. Banda to Asiago, and will be presented by Stefania Longhini, editor of the plateau.

OUR FATHER

"It takes courage to pray the our father. It takes courage. I say: go to say ' Daddy ' and to really believe that God is the father who accompanies me, forgive me, giving me the bread, is attentive to all I ask, I still dress best of wildflowers. Believe it is also a great risk: and if it wasn't true? Dare, dare, but all together. Why pray together is so beautiful: because we all help each other to dare." The our father is the prayer that encloses all other, what Jesus gave to his disciples to respond to their request: "teach us to pray". In this valuable book, Pope Francis illuminates it verse by verse answering questions by don Marco Pozza, theologian and Chaplain of the prison in Padua. The words taught by Jesus resonate with episodes from the life of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, with its apostolic mission and with the concerns and hopes of the men and women of today, to become the Guide for a life full of meaning and purpose. Each chapter of the conversation ends with Francis texts – pronounced in Wednesday audiences or Angelus – which deepen and develop crucial issues such as fatherhood, grace, forgiveness, evil. Eventually, don Marco Parsons leads the our father within prison, and let two of his parishioners give voice to the pain that runs through their lives and their hope of mercy.
