On Sunday 16 February , the Biosphaera Guides organize a panoramic snowshoe hike on the steps of history up to the top of Mount Zovetto.
Starting from the Sacello di Sant'Antonio, near which you can leave your car, you can quickly reach the Zona Sacra del Fante, where one of the decisive clashes of the Battle of the Highlands took place and there are two military cemeteries, one of which is English.
You then continue through the woods and pastures, until you reach the British trenches of Mount Zovetto, just below the summit, from where you can enjoy a view of much of the Plateau and understand the dynamics of the Great War in this area.
You then descend again, through another itinerary, to the starting point.
The excursion will be led by Luca Grotto, Environmental Hiking Guide and historian.
In case of no snow, the excursion will still take place, without the use of snowshoes.
