On Sunday 25 June 2023, the Valmaron Refuge in Enego invites you to participate in an exciting guided e-bike tour entitled "High altitude plateau, the Ortigara".
The expert guides will lead you to Mount Ortigara, also known as the "Calvary of the Alpini", one of the most famous peaks of the Asiago plateau. Here the gaze moves from the wonders of nature, to the still evident signs of the Great War, which remind us of the violence and tragic events that occurred in these areas a hundred years ago.
It will be a truly exciting journey, between nature and history, to the top of Ortigara, where the column silently watches, engraved with the words "Not to forget".
At the summit you can also enjoy the tasty packed lunch prepared by the Valmaron Refuge.
The excursion is open to all those who wish to participate, whether they rent an e-bike at the Valmaron Refuge, or who already have their own. Different prices will apply according to different options.
Reservations are required.
The participation price is 85 € per person and includes the rental of the e-bike, the excursion with a professional guide and the packed lunch.
For those who already have their own e-bike, the price is instead of 35 € per person.
