Sunday 11August2013 new appointment with the 47 ^ Edition ofAsiago Festival.
In the morning, at 10.30 a.m. at the Hall of the municipality of Asiago, held the meeting with the composer Johannes x. Schachtner, which will be the protagonist of the evening with the song that he composed for theAsiago Festival and performed in world premiere at 21.00.
Theevening event will take place at 21.00 o'clock at the Church of San Rocco di Asiago and will be entirely dedicated to Johannes x. Schachtner and his music. The organ there is Konstantin Esterl, violin Magdalena Rezler, Duccio Beluffviola, cello Julius Berger and Berger Hyun-Jung.
JOHANNES X. SCHACHTNER
Johannes x. Schachtner received his first lessons in trumpet, Piano and conducting by Ulrich Weder. From 2004 he studied composition at the Hochschule für Musik and Theater München with professor Hans-Jürgen von Bose and Rudi Spring, and later with professor Jan Müller-Wieland. At the same time he attended the class of conducting of Prof. Bruno Weil and completed both courses with a diploma of master class.
His compositional output includes works for solo instruments, Chamber, vocal and orchestra, as well as works for the musical theatre. Internationally renowned soloists as Silke Avenhaus, Julia Fischer, Peter Schöne, Sebastian Klinger, Maximilian Hornung and conductor Michael Sanderling played his works. As a conductor he worked with Philharmonic Orchestra, Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt and theSymphonic Orchestra of Munich with Bad Reichenhall.
In 2007 the Opera debut with "the Turk in Italy" by Rossini, followed by more Opera productions, including numerous international premiere. In addition to his work as a composer and conductor, also works as a teacher and artistic director.
