Piano concert " a musical journey between France and Argentina, Roana-" August 12, 2013
Musical event definitely not to be missed is the one organized by Culture & music on the evening of Monday, August 12, 2013. At 21.00 hours, at the sala s. Giustina in Roana, Argentine pianist will perform Low Silas, who will accompany the audience with his " musical journey between France and Argentina": a musical tribute to the country that welcomed (in fact, Silas now resides in Paris) and his native country.
The intersection of different cultures is always present in his repertoire, and on this occasion will be performed music by Debussy, Satie, Poulenc, Guastavino, Piazzolla, Ginastera.
The French musical path begins with Debussy and Impressionism inspired harmonies all ' and Poulenc with his melodies composed by elegance, humor and lightness.
A 'perpetual Tango» Satie 's will accompany us up to Argentina to find out ' music from the classical and folk influences and conclude, of course, with the Tango!
Born in Argentina in 1978, Silas Low discovered the piano at age five. By age eight, she began anintense musical training at the Conservatory of his region, which also allows him to keep the first concerts open to the public.
Following his strong desire for artistic and personal maturity, he entered the National Conservatory of Buenos Aires, and is selected to participate in the Master-Class of the prestigious Argentine pianist Bruno Gelber, after which he won a scholarship to play with him in Europe.
This experience opens new horizons, and allows, during a brief stay in Paris in 2002, have a crucial meeting to his career: one with the teacher, Monique Deschaussées, former student of Cortot and e. Fischer. Is following his advice and under his impulse that Silas decides to settle in Paris and working with her intensely and deep level.
From 2006 teaches piano at the Center of the town of Animation 10th Arrondissement of Paris.
In Paris, has created numerous concert-spectacle of which the most recent is "Reminiscentia" musical show combining dance and piano video projection images, designed for "Theatre du Gymnase" and shown here in 2012.
