Musical evening in Asiago with the choir Guido d'arezzo
Tuesday 21 August 2018, the Cathedral of St. Matthew of Asiago will frame to an exciting concert of Choir Guido d'arezzo de Liège-Belgium.
The choristers enliven the evening with their talent, to the tune of the most beautiful songs, starting at 21.00.
An opportunity to spend an evening with friends, in the name of good music.
GUIDO D'AREZZO CHORUS OF LIEGE-BELGIUM
In 1975 the choir in Liège (Belgium) industrial and mining area, taking the name "Chorus Guido d'arezzo" in homage to the famous Tuscan monk Guido d'arezzo (995-1050).
Currently, the choir employs about 60 choristers, mostly expats and sons of Italian immigrants in the area of Liege in Wallonia (southern Belgium) but also Belgians, Germans, Japanese who love Italian culture.
The objective and to share with listeners the pleasure it procures the hand, through a repertoire composed classical pieces by Verdi, Donizetti, Mascagni, Italian melodies and chants. All under the direction of two talented musicians: Mme Anne Pagnoul and Gaetan Masson.
The choir participated in the International Festival of Tuscany in Montecatini.
In 2014, he sang on the Asiago plateau, in the Church of St. Matthew Cathedral in Asiago and Roan with la Scola Cantorum San Matteo
In 2015, celebrated 40 years of the choir with several concerts in the province of Liège
In 2016, has animated the Holy Mass in Saint Peter's basilica in Rome, then also the Pantheon and the Belgian Embassy to the Holy See.
In 2016, he got himself the gratitude of the «Tour art and life» in the category «excellence» music Federation Wallonie-Bruxelles.
