Course in practical use of CNC machine tools, Asiago, from May 14th, 2016

The educational institution PENTA TRAINING arranges to Asiago an interesting course in practical use of CNC machine tools, aimed at people who, for work or just for curiosity, intends to specialize their knowledge in this field.

The CNC (Computer Numerical Control), such as presses, punches, lathes, milling machines, welding machines and many sheet metal cutting machines, are now widely available and used in almost every field of mechanics. Learn how to use them and manage them is therefore a skill that proves very useful to those who are looking for work or want to specialize in this area.

The course will begin on March 5, 2016, at thehigher Institute in via Giacomo Matteotti, to Asiago. Will run for 48 hours, during which theoretical and practical parts parts will alternate in a laboratory rigged with lathe and machining center with Fanuc language.

AIMS

The course is designed to be thoroughly aware of the structure and the CNC operating systems of the major machine tools and provide the skills necessary for the management of these technologies.

- Define and plan the various phases of the operations to be performed on the basis of the received instructions and technical drawings to be realized

- Preparing tools, equipment and machinery required for different machining phases on the basis of the type of materials used

- Perform lathe machining and CNC milling machine parts according to the design specifications

- Monitor the operation of instruments, equipment and machinery

PROGRAM

Reading and interpretation of mechanical drawing
of machine tool numerical control technology
Methods of determining the correct cutting parameters as a function of the different tools and materials
Mode of tool presetting
Preparation of the machine
Elementary programming point to point
Using macros drilling
face milling and contour with tool radius compensation
elementary operations at CNC lathe
Using macros for roughing, finishing and threading the CNC lathe
Particular attention is given to the practice of on-board operations, such as measuring tool or the machine resets and workpiece datums

TEACHER

The teacher of the course is trainer at a vocational school and for years dealing with training aimed at children and adults. Adopt a teaching methodology that alternates the theoretical part to the laboratory practice that lends itself to provide basic knowledge in the field of numerical control machines. Before devoting himself to teaching he has gained significant experience in engineering companies in the Vicenza area.

INFORMATION

The course will take place at a laboratory equipped with lathe and machining center with Fanuc language.

At the end of the course will receive a certificate of attendance with description of acquired skills.
