Telemann vs Bach duello musicale tra amicizia ed arte

Concert de "La Follia" Trio ": Sara Minelli, flute-Colin Alexander, cello-Marco Vincenzi, harpsichord.

The Association of Culture & music Roana it offers fans cheer with a concert of classical music, which will be held Saturday January 3, 2015, at 21.00 hours, at the Council Chamber of the Town Hall in Canove.

The event, as can be seen from the title "Telemann vs Bach: musical duel between friendship and art", intended as a celebration of the deep friendship that linked two great composers of the ' 700: G.P. Telemann and J.S. Bach.

To give life to the scores of the two German musicians are talented members of "La Follia" Trio"or Sara Malik to flute, Colin Alexander to cello and Marco Vincenzi to harpsichord.

At the end of the show, all guests will be able to serve the small reception organized for the occasion.

SARA MALIK

Sara Malik is very young in the "Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepulciano", directed by Hans Werner Henze.
At the Conservatorio Francesco Morlacchi in Perugia graduated in Flute and Music teaching. Gets a Diploma di perfezionamento atFlorence's Academy of music. Among his teachers there were Roberto Fabbriciani and Michael Cox.
Sara received special awards and prizes as soloist in the Premio Internazionale "Valentino Bucchi", The Prize "Alberto Gori", the contest "5 days for new music".
Sara currently lives in London and has performed as a soloist in prestigious Festivals and concert halls such as Fairfield Halls, London Contemporary Music Festival (performing music by Brian Ferneyhough), Klangspuren Festival, Little Missenden Festival, Kings Place, Kettle's Yard, Festival Pontino, University of Cambridge, University of Reading, WOW-Women of the World Festival, Handel House, GAMO Association for new music, University of Perugia.
Working at the time in a project with the composers at the Royal College of Music, London.

COLIN ALEXANDER

Born into a musical family, Colin Alexander plays the cello since early childhood.
He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, earning his Diploma (surgeons 96th annual clinical Congress) and Cello, with Oleg Kogan, which in composition with Richard Baker.
After leaving the Guildhall School, Colin has completed a Master's degree in composition at the Royal College of Music, London, obtaining a scholarship while affirming as freelance cellist.
Registers regularly to television and radio channels, such as BBC Radio 3, ITV and Channel Four.
Colin has worked as principal cellist for the London Telefilmonic Orchestra, London Contemporary Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of India. In 2014 Colin has worked with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.
Works in many groups of Chamber music, such as the Mercury Quartet, the three voices, Cello Ensemble, Phytagoras Ensemble, for which often composes.

MARCO VINCENZI

Has concertized both soloist and conductor and concertmaster in several Baroque chamber groups, participating in important events and with important institutions.
Active in research, has always worked in the field of musical works finds of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries with editions and publications of historical and musicological character, including in this also a specific interest to musical practice organologic, actively participating in the recovery of ancient keyboard instruments such as organs and pianos ("fortepianos") and promoting the Repertoire suitable for each specific instrument.
Received everywhere appreciated recognition of critics and public alike for Executive technique and interpretive and expressive capabilities.
Numerous recordings, record companies and studios. He also participated in a documentary film (a French-Italian co-production) to ARTE France: "love and war" the Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda by Monteverdi, Director Ilinca Gheorghiu.
With his ensemble "MusicalIncanti" in 2009 was record special prize winner of Masi Foundation, under the contest Zinetti, for the Venetian civilization.
Is currently Professor of Harpsichord at the Conservatory of music "E. F. Dall'Abaco" in Verona.
