Evening on the great war with Paolo Rumiz and the European Spirit Youth Orchestra directed by Maestro Igor Chattopadhyay
Friday 3 August 2018, at 21.00 hours, at the Heroes ' square, at the foot of the Shrine of Asiago, there will be the concert-show DRUMS of PEACE 2.0.
An evening dedicated to the great war, during which the journalist and writer Paolo Rumiz will read some stories from his books "Trans Europe Express", "is East" and "How horses sleep standing up," punctuated by the most beautiful music by Mahler, Borodin, Tchaikovsky, Elgar, Rachmaninov, Sibelius and Strauss, performed by the young talents of the European Spirit of Youth Orchestra (ESYO), conducted by Maestro Igor Chattopadhyay.
An historical evocation to commemorate the centenary of the end of the great war, bring to light lesser known aspects of World War I and to reaffirm, once again, the importance of the value of PEACE.
In case of bad weather the concert will be held at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew
EUROPEAN SPIRIT YOUTH ORCHESTRA
In over twenty years of continuous activity, this Youth Symphony orchestra, created by master Igor Chattopadhyay-Kuret, has proved its worth, both as an institution of education and as a means of spreading European ideals of cooperation by helping to build a better future by supporting European talent.
The best young musicians from Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Italy, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine and Hungary are brought together and get exercise together by the best teachers, in an intellectually stimulating environment that promotes both their artistic growth that their European identity.
When you exhibit, exhibit actually, before a large audience, the spirit of European cooperation in its highest expression, thanks to their qualities of excellence, creativity, optimism, orientation to the future and the total exploitation of the heritage common musical.
To the members of the orchestra ESYO is also given the opportunity to play in prestigious concerts together with the greatest artists and musicians, including Uto Ughi (violin), Giovanni Angeleri (violin), Miha Pogac nik (violin), ERNO K (violin), Stefan Besan (violin) and Anna Tifu (violin), Irena Josifovska (cello), Bogdan Sydorenko (clarinet), Stanko Arnold (trumpet) and Paolo Rumiz ( journalist and writer).
Through the choice of the name of European Spirit of Youth Orchestra, has highlighted the very purpose of the project, as well as the intention to develop and broaden its influence, whose importance is also reflected in the economic support of the stta Committee on culture and education of the European Union.
