META: Altarknotto (Rotzo) - Plateau of the Seven Municipalities (VI)
The Altar Knotto, a suggestive rock formation on the Asiago Plateau, overlooking the Val d'Astico, whose shape resembles that of a large altar.
He has always evoked more or less legendary tales that connect fantasy to the world of the popular imagination.
The beauty of this place is due not only to the suggestive rock formations, but also to the lush flora that surrounds it, which quickly passes from the thermophilic plants of the eyebrows to the typically alpine vegetation of our mountains.
A walk through the beech woods and postcard-perfect views that accompanies us to discover the popular imagination and the ancient traditions of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities!

The route develops between mountain trails and dirt roads. The uphill difference is less than 300 m, there are no particularly exposed sections.
TO TAKE WITH you: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat. Recommended long pants.
