Guided walk to discover orchids and mountain flowers
DESTINATION: Pastures and woods of Pusterle - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
The destination may vary depending on the seasonal weather pattern and the blooms present.
The Plateau hides botanical treasures not always known, such as over 15 different species of orchids in bloom .....
It will be an opportunity to live a relaxing morning in the mountains, stopping to observe the particular shapes of orchids and to discover their particular adaptations to the mountain environment, as well as different curiosities about their uses in history.
Surrounded by the beauty of pastures and woods rich in biodiversity to live together a Mountain of Emotions!
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 300 m, there are no exposed sections.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: MOUNTAIN BOOTS, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), possibly a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
COST: 15€ for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years.
MEETING POINT: 9.30 am near the Ghertele -
It starts on foot from the meeting place. There are no services (WC - refreshment) at the starting point. More info via Whatsapp, after booking.
