Environmental Laboratory "the world of bees: a beehive to discover", July 18, 2015 Asiago
Saturday 18 July 2015 at the Nature Museum Patrizio Rigoni of Asiago held an environmental workshop "the world of bees: a beehive to discover".
Starting at 16.00 at the Museum, the workshop is open to all children and those who want to participate in the discovery of this small but complex world.
Bees are biological indicators of environmental quality and currently represent an ecological emergency in progress.
Beekeeping is an ancient tradition. In Europe the honeybees are kept for several millennia. The APIs are critical to the environment, as it encourages biodiversity doing the essential role ofpollination for crops and wild plants.
They contribute directly to the wealth and well-being of man thanks to the production of honey and other products for food and feed, such as the pollen, wax for food processing, the propolis in food technology and Royal Jelly as a dietary supplement and food ingredient.
