Evening excursion to the mountain Plateau Paù with Guides, Saturday November 16, 2013
For the evening of Saturday 16 November, guides the plateau offers aMoonlight hike to Monte Paù with dinner in a refuge.
The meeting is set for 2 hours 17:00 at the "Blue Lodge" of Treschè Hollow. Tour duration: 3-4 hours. FIX: easypath.
This excursion is ideal for those who want a little challenging path but with a peculiar historical value and town.
The trail runs along the western edge of the "maximum line resistance" or Front South of the great war, an ideal barrier containing the Imperial Army on the mountains at bastion of the Venitian plain. It starts at about 1300 m in "Holes of Cangrejo", karst depressions used to pasture.
Arrived in the Observatory of Paù Nozzle up to 1417 of Cima del Gallo (Monte Paù) , touching many points of historical interest (trenches, tunnels, gun emplacements), while many natural balconies allow for pleasant breaks admiring the final part of the Astico Valley, Monte Summano, the Piccole Dolomiti, and the plain you see countries and cities, and weather permitting, even la laguna.
Everything is made magical by the red tones that light up the landscape during sunset. in the second part of the path will instead pallor of the full moon to guide us along the paths.
