Evening of song with Chorus G.e.s. of Schio and choral group, Asiago Plateau Friday January 4, 2013

Friday January 4, 2013, Asiago, there will be an evening of songs.

Performing will be the G.E.S. Choir of Schio and Plateau choral group.

The concert will take place at the Teatro Millepini of Asiago, 21:00 hours.

This is an event aimed at enthusiasts or simply people who are pleasant folk songs.

G.E.S. CHOIR OF SCHIO

More than ' years sessant Chorale; in 2009 the G.E.S. Choir celebrated with solemnity the 61 years of Foundation: more than half a century of song, which told the story of our mountains and our people.

The original inspiration came from S.A.T. choir of Trento and that group the G.E.S. has revived, with recognized and appreciated sensitivity, many of the most celebrated songs.

But in the last 20 years the choir has embarked on its original route, greatly enriching the Repertoire and entering their songs too, with specific areas, mainly linked to our traditions and our local history.

However the deep soul of this choral group scledense has remained and remains anchored in the most genuine folk tradition, made up of religious holidays, patriotic celebrations, anniversaries and historic trips to meet our emigrants veneti.

In many tours overseas that the choir has performed in recent years (four in the United States, two in Brazil as well as in Sweden, Germany and in various States of Europe) the choir met with festive crowds and touched by emigrants and of admirers and is always returned home with a swollen heart of gratitude and satisfaction.
