Ecology of fire in 2015/2016 winter Portule
Sunday 28 August 2016, Asiago Guide will take you on a tour titled "Ex Igne Splendidor", studying together with details of the fire that destroyed dozens of acres between top of larch and Cima Portule.
The last winter was among the most buckets that have ever seen ... it is not surprising that just before new year's started a fire difficult to tame that destroyed dozens of acres between top of larch and Cima Portule.
As we are reminded by the Latin motto on the Asiago Town Hall, the fire will come a greater glory. As our capital is resurrected after the war as well nature will resurrect these mountains with new life.
Along the way we will talk of fires: causes, prevention, management. But even more, we will underline in every respect the regenerative capacity of the Earth. After contemplating the sunset from these mountains there we shall travel on the way back, to finish together in refuge with those who want to stop.
