Excursion for a sustainable tourism "ALTA VIA TILMAN" Futourist Project, June 9, 2019
In collaboration with the Futourist project, they were organized by the municipality of Asiago of freeguided tours, conducted by the plateau guides.
On June 9th, 2019 is planned the excursion that will depart from Asiago and will arrive at the hamlet of Sasso along a piece of high street Tilman arriving at the entrance of Calà del Sasso.
The Alta via retraces the voyage that major Harold William Tilman, responsible for the Allied commands of the Agordino area during the resistance, made to reach his command post after being parached on the Asiago plateau in the summer of 1944.
The itinerary, which takes place between woods and pastures, is interesting both for the landscapes it crosses, and for the places related to the First World War.
PROGRAM OF THE EXCURSION:
Meeting point: Scheduled for 9.00 hours from the Bar of the old station of Asiago, near the square of the ice Stadium of Asiago. The departure will take place directly on foot.
