Final concert with The Orchestra conducted by Carlo Benedetto Cimento, music by Mussorgsky, Ibert and Puccini
The 2018 music week of in Treschè Hollow comes to an end.
The final concert is scheduled for Saturday, 11 August 2018, at 21.00hours, on the premises of the Church.
Performing will be The small Orchestra, conducted by Charles Benedict Cimento. The talented musicians will play the most beautiful music by Mussorgsky, Russian composer of the romantic period and belonging to the Group of Five (Group of composers whose production has a nationalist theme); Jacques Ibert, French composer active on several fronts, wrote mainly orchestral music but also operas, operettas, ballets, Chamber music and soundtracks (Macbeth in Orson Walles); and Gioachino Rossini, one of the best-known national composers, who has competed in various musical genres. Some of his famous works are: Il barbiere di Siviglia, L'italiana in Algeri, William Tell. Also known for its style, an orchestral cresecendo on phrase repeated, called rossinian.
