Commemoration "Granezza massacre" on Monte Corno, Asiago plateau September 7, 2014
Sunday 7 September 2014 on theAsiago plateau is the commemoration of the massacre of Granezza.
The event will take place in Locality Granezza, Monte Corno alle 9.30 hours.
After the celebratory speeches in honor of the fallen will be celebrated the Holy Mass. The ceremony will be accompanied by the music band of Lugo and the Coro Monte Pasubio of Schio.
As usual, this year's commemoration of the massacre of Granezza represents an opportunity to pay tribute to all those who fought and sacrificed their lives for freedom and democracy.
The victims of the massacre of Granezza were a forty, including 14 soldiers of Speer killed for desertion.
Followed days of terror on the plateau, with fires, shootings and devastation.
