Guided excursions
Saturday, August 14, 2021 the Pro Loco of Roana organizes the release "Alte lentle, alte erbot – Antiche contrade, antichi mestieri", in collaboration with Asiago Guide.
Theguided excursion will be held from 9.30 to 13.00,departing from Piazza Santa Giustina,and will take you to discover the territory, on the traces of the Cimbri and the ancient history of the country.

Walking off the usual paths, we discover ancient paths and places with evocative names:
Snaidar, Tökkalar, Ässele, Biskale... micro-toponymy that tells us about the life that was. Names that keep the Cimbra language alive even in today's speech, places full of charm and stories to tell. Those stories that make history.
Together, among meadows and woods, we will talk about the new and the old Roana, and how to live in balance with the territory transforming everything into something useful for life in these mountains, crafts disappeared but sometimes rediscovered, not out of necessity but out of passion for their heritage and their land.
