Guided excursions
Monday, August 23, 2021 awaits you aguided historical naturalistic excursion entitled"Among the places of the Great War"with Asiago Guide.
From the village of Cesuna, a characteristic mountain village, we will head towards a fir forest to immerse ourselves in nature and let ourselves be pervaded by the balsamic notes and the beauty of the flowering cyclamens.
Every stone, every tree, every ravine bears the signs of the First World War that we will discover in detail by following the paths of those soldiers who fought here. Step by step we will cross what were during the Great War battlefields of Mount Lemerle,as evidenced by the still visible loopholes, the English command post, the cippi erected in the post-war period and the young replanted forest.
The guide interpreting the landscape will take you on a journey through history to give you an experience in nature full of emotions!
Meeting point at the PalaCiclamino at 9:30 am. The return is scheduled for 13:00.
Reservations are required.
EXCURSION DETAILS
Difficulty: 3 (medium) on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging).
The route develops between mountain paths, dirt roads and some short stretches of paved road with little traffic.
The difference in height uphill is less than 300 m, there are no exposed sections.
Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.
