Guided excursions
Monday, August 30, 2021 awaits you aguided historical naturalistic excursion entitled "The British intervention in the Great War" with Asiago Guide.
The British intervention in Italy during the First World War is not known by everyone: the British Expeditionary Force (B.E.F.) was deployed in March 1918 between Asiago and Cesuna in support of the Italian divisions in the trenches.
The British Empire at the time stretched over all continents and comprised a fifth of the world's population. Through the tangible signs left by the War such as the trenches of Mount Zovetto and the cemeteries now restored, we will introduce you to the stories of these soldiers, catapulted into the Plateau, literally on the other side of the world.
During the journey through fir woods and fragrant pastures, the guide will take you on a journey through history to give you an experience in nature full of emotions!
Meeting point at the Pala Ciclamino at 9:30 am. The return is scheduled for 13:00.
Reservations are required.
