MARATHON OF THE ALTOPIANO-LATTERIE VICENTINE in Gallio 29th September 2019

MTB race through the landscapes of the Asiago Plateau Seven Commons

Sunday 29 September 2019 the Asiago Plateau will be the protagonist of a new important event included in the national MTB calendar: the Marathon of the Plateau-Latterie Vicentine

The logistics site will be Gallio (VI), the highest country in the Plateau at an altitude of 1,100 m/slm,with its enchanting landscapes all to be discovered, among woods, pastures and mountains, a kaleidoscope of colors, flora and fauna, ever-changing ecosystems.

There are two courses on offer, the 73km Marathon with 2,380m of positive difference, and the Classic,45km and 1,410m positive difference. Both routes have been studied and developed in collaboration with Walter Costa,Asian DOC, deep connoisseur of the territory and great expert in mountain biking.

The event, already from mid-week, will be full of side events,days entirely dedicated to sport and outdoor entertainment, which will be the setting for the main event, the Marathon of the Plateau-Latterie Vicentine.

MARATHON FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE PLATEAU

Following the damage caused by the bad weather on Monday, October 29, 2018, the C.O. of Cortina Experience, engaged in the organization of the Marathon of the Plateau, decided to support the restoration activities on the territory of the Highlands.

For each registration of the Marathon of the Plateau will be donated 2 euros to the administration of Gallio, in addition, during the registration phase, each biker can decide to voluntarily donate an additional 2 euros.

It is mandatory to use and fasten the helmet approved for cycling activities throughout the race.
Electric bikes and tandembikes are not allowed

Paths

There are two courses, a 44 km classic with 1400 m of altitude and a marathon 72.4 km with 2300 m of difference in altitude.
Participants will have to choose the route at the time of registration. It is not possible to vary the course during the race.
The routes will be permanently reported on the Wednesday before the event.

Participation

The event is open to all FCI members or bodies of the National Cycling Consultation (e.g. UISP, ACSI, AICS, ENDAS, ACLI, CSI....) as determined by the FCI's off-road industry implementation rules, whose year of birth is still included in one of the categories provided for in the next step.
Non-members, with a competitive medical certificate for cycling, can participate in both routes after payment of 15.00 euros as a daily FCI insurance to enter the rankings in their category.
Certificates must be delivered in original time at the collection of the bib.
For the issuance of the daily competitive card and for the participation of foreign members it is necessary to sign the ethical declaration provided by the rules of the FCI and hand it over to the organization.
Athletes with a medical certificate of fitness for non-competitive sport, with a minimum age of 18, are eligible for the EVENT. Medical certificates will only be accepted in the original. Hikers will only be able to participate in the Ecological Pedalata that will take place in the classic track.

Non-members of the team ("walkers") can only participate in the 44 km Classic course in the category called "Ecological Pedalata" that will start 1 minute after the last grids of the classic route.

Registrations are open from 22 October 2018 until 27 September 2019,registrations on site are possible on Saturday28 September from 12.00 to 19.00 and Sunday 29 September from 6.00 to 8.00

Entries are accepted up to a maximum of 1200 participants.

The C.O. It reserves the right to increase this number or block registrations at any time, even if the maximum limit has not been reached.
Entries without payment will not be taken into account.

In addition to the registration with the modalities specified above, FCI members will then have to register through the K factor () through the sports club.

The Race ID will be communicated as soon as it is published by the FCI.

Registrations made only through K Factor are not valid, just as they are not valid, for FCI members, those not perfected also through K Factor.

ENROLMENT FEE

The participation fee is set on the basis of quantitative and time criteria:

40.00 from May 1 to September 27

50.00 entries Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 at the race secretariat

The participation fee includes: custom time-tracking chip, item being defined, route signaling, medical-health care, radio rescue, mechanical assistance at departure, rescans along the way and on arrival, pasta party, changing rooms and showers, bike wash, awards.

If the event is cancelled or suspended due to force majeure not attributable to the organizer, the participation fee will not be refunded.

Awards

The awards will be held at the municipal gym from 3 p.m.

Cash prizes are provided for the top 5 overall (M/F) of the Marathon course.

The top 3 absolute runners(M/F) of both courses will be awarded with prizes in nature during the Flower Cerimony.

The top 5 runners-up in each category for both routes (M/F), will receive prizes in nature.

The top 4 companies with the largest number of athletes who will be lined up at the start (departing), the 5th company with technical gadgets, will be rewarded with cash prizes.

PRIZE WITHDRAWAL

The awards will be held at the Municipal Gym of Gallio.

The prize money and prizes in kind will be handed out to the claimants, immediately after the award ceremony and in any case from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

All premiums, net of the withholding tax provided by the Italian Tax Regulation, will be paid only and exclusively to those entitled, after submitting a document of recognition. Delegates or shipping requests will not be accepted by mail.
