Guided hike with Guide Altopiano di Asiago-"rock Labyrinth"-Carridice di San Marco
The Plateau Guides offer historical-naturalistic excursion to Carridice di s. Marco, Asiago plateau, Sunday July 13, 2013.
The meeting is set to 09:00 at the Piazzale dello Stadio del ghiaccio di Asiago.
Duration: full day excursion. FIX: media path.
The Carridice di San Marco, a rocky area situated on the North ridge of the plateau, are famous for their unique shape, which gives the impression to the visitor to be inside a stone town.
The Carridice appear as a rock labyrinth, also during the first world war, when it became natural defenses used Italian troops. Spectacular location, the characteristic steps in narrow passages and tunnels and for the fantastic landscape that can be seen from the top.

Scheduled departure at 9.00 from the ice stadium of Asiago;

The Association is composed of local guides that operate on the territory of the seven Municipalities Plateau for many years. Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are professionals recognized and entered in the register of the Vicenza province; they propose to accompany busloads of people on excursions and tours drive on the territory, as required by regional law No. 33 of 11/4/2002.
