Hoga Zait (which in the Cimbrian language means "beautiful weather" or "high weather", therefore time of celebration) is the traditional Festival of Cimbrian culture, which has been proposed for several years now by the Municipality of Roana in the various hamlets, together with the Pro loco and some local associations.
The event, now in its 17th edition, returns again this summer and will take place over two weekends: 15, 16, 17 and 22, 23, 24 July.
Hoga Zait returns to its origins enriching itself with new activities and shows focused and focused on the Tradition and Culture of Cimbria, in particular proposing the "crafts of the past" with workshops and various initiatives carried out in the 6 hamlets.
Musical entertainment is also back thanks to several guests including the singer Maria Roveran who will present her new album "Nauge Beng", Ilaria Vellar and the balt Huttar group, to conclude everything with folk dances in traditional costume by the group "Valli del Leno - Vallarsa".
There will be many initiatives proposed, all not to be missed suitable for all ages, from the little ones such as treasure hunts and workshops, guided excursions for young people and adults and typical dinners with traditional Cimbrian dishes; the Cimbrian market with books and typical Cimbrian products and musical entertainment; trekking with alpacas for young and old; video presentations and short films; theatrical, musical and folkloristic performances and the inevitable crossing of the Val d'Assa with the guides and the Schellaträgar to end with a great final party.
All activities will take place by reservation in total safety and in the open air.

The first weekend of celebration sees as protagonists the fractions of:
- Friday 15: MEZZASELVA inside the SelvArt park and at the K2 Restaurant
- Saturday 16: CANOVE in the Waister Farm, at the Multipurpose Building and in the Bisele locality
- Sunday 17: TRESCHE' CONCA in the Stable of the "Seia" and Cinema-Theatre "Palladio" of Cesuna

The second weekend will take place in the hamlets of:
- Friday 22: CAMPOROVERE near the Church of Holl and Locanda Stella
- Saturday 23: CESUNA near the Pala Ciclamino and in the Park of Legends
- Sunday 24: ROANA at Piazza Santa Giustina
